an' your tires are wearing thin.
then birthdays aren't something
that you welcome with a grin
And I'm speaking from experience,
although it's sad but true.
Father Time & Mother Nature
sure can make it tough for you.
I'll admit I'm getting mildewed
and my carburator is busted.
My chassis's cracked and dented
and my spark plugs are all
rusted.
But what's the use of griping
because you've stripped your gears.
You can't expect to feel like
Twenty when you've lived
for Fifty years.
